Fellow Republican,
The Alabama Republican Party candidate qualifying period is approaching – October 8 – November 8, 2019. In order for a presidential candidate to be listed on our ballot, a Presidential Petition is required.
This your personal opportunity to help President Trump gain ballot access on our March 3, 2020, GOP primary. There is no better way for a citizen to take first hand action in our political process than this first step.
A PDF version of the ALGOP Presidential Petition is linked at the bottom of this page. Just click on the picture of the petition. You can print multiple copies in order to collect as many signatures as possible. Feel free to gather signatures from your neighbors, in churches, schools, civic organizations, sporting events, political meetings, county fairs/festivals or anywhere you can. Send your photos of people signing the peitions to jeannie@algop.org and we will post them on our social media.
All signatories must be registered voters of Alabama and must include their printed name, signature, and the county in which they reside.
Once you have collected signatures, the Alabama Republican Party must have the original documents – no copies, email scans or faxes can be accepted. You can mail the petitions to the following address or hand deliver them to:

Please mail all petitions to the state party by November 1 in order for us to know how many signatures have been collected before the closing of qualifying.
