ALGOP Sets Qualifying Opening Date for the Alabama U.S. Senate Special Election
The Alabama Republican Party will open candidate qualifying for the Alabama U.S. Senate Special Election on Monday, April 24 at 8:30 a.m. CDT and will close on Wednesday, May 17 at 5:00 p.m. CDT. The primary will be held on August 15, 2017. If needed, a runoff election will be held on September 26, 2017.
