The Alabama Republican Party will open candidate qualifying for the Alabama U.S. Senate Special Election on Monday, April 24 at 8:30 a.m. CDT and will close on Wednesday, May 17 at 5:00 p.m. CDT.
The primary will be held on August 15, 2017. If needed, a runoff election will be held on September 26, 2017. The general election will take place on December 12, 2017.
