The Jackson County GOP recently welcomed former Democrat Coroner John David Jordan as a member of the Republican Party.
Jackson County Republican Party Chairman Allen Keller made the following statement regarding the new GOP member:
“The Jackson County Republican Party is pleased to announce that Coroner John David Jordan, former Democrat, was voted into the Republican Party during our meeting on September 21. John David is a fine man and has an excellent reputation as coroner. We are so excited to have him on board as a Republican!”
The ALGOP notes that 59% of all partisan elected officials in Alabama are Republicans.
