(WASHINGTON, DC)— Congressman Mike Rogers made the following remarks on the 225th anniversary of the adoption of the US Constitution.
“Today I join my fellow Americans in celebrating the signing of our Constitution. This history-making document represents everything we as Americans stand for.
“225 years ago today, our Founding Fathers joined together and signed our Constitution, which is a promise to American citizens to uphold and respect our American liberties.
“I join with all Americans today in celebrating this important occasion, and hope we will all continue to say our blessings for being citizens of the greatest country in the world,” Rogers said.
