HUNTSVILLE, AL – The Alabama Republican Party State Executive Committee will gather for their biannual meeting in Huntsville, Alabama on Saturday, August 27, 2016. The meeting, which is open to the public, will be held at the Von Braun Convention Center. The ALGOP has one of the largest state parties in the nation with over 440 members.
“The Alabama Republican Party recognizes the importance of North Alabama in our electoral process. For the first time in over ten years, I am excited to bring the ALGOP meeting and dinner to the Rocket City. We honor and value our friends in North Alabama,” said Alabama Republican Party Chairman Terry Lathan.
On Saturday evening, the Alabama Republican Party will continue the theme from this summer’s Republican National Convention and will feature several guest speakers during a dinner for over 600 Republicans around the state. ALGOP will honor our nation’s first responders for their selfless dedication to our citizens’ safety. Special guests include U.S. Senator Jeff Sessions, Congressman Mo Brooks, Republican National Committee Co-Chairman Sharon Day and Matt Pinnell, RNC State Party Director.
