2018 YRFA Summer Meeting

The 2018 YRFA Summer Meeting will take place on Friday, August 17th – Saturday, August 18th in Downtown Birmingham.
*All club chairs, state committeemen, and state committeewomen are REQUIRED to attend this meeting. All other YRs are STRONGLY ENCOURAGED to attend. Required to attend but can’t be there? Send a proxy. Email YRFA Secretary Dalton Dismukes at DaltonLDismukes@gmail.com for more information.
Accommodations
The brand new Hilton Garden Inn Downtown Birmingham will serve as the official meeting hotel. Former YRFA Secretary Jason DeLuca is the GM of the hotel and has secured a special room rate of $109 and FREE parking for attendees who are coming in early for Friday evening activities. Friday Service Project at Jimme Hale Mission (4:45PM)
An important part of being a YR is using our conservative values to help our community. The YRFA is kicking off the weekend by serving dinner at Jimmie Hale Mission Shepura Men’s Center at 4:45PM. We need 7 volunteers – email Jackie.Curtiss90@gmail.com to help.

Brandon Shoupe recently stepped down from his position as YRFA Treasurer. We will hold a special election during our meeting to fill this vacancy. If you are interested in running for Treasurer, please contact Executive Director Collier Tynes at CollierTynes@gmail.com.
The cost of the event is $25 per person. This includes Friday welcome reception, business meeting, and breakfast/lunch on Saturday.
