On June 5th, Secretary of State Beth Chapman will be featured on the keynote panel at the National Notary Association annual conference in San Diego, California. The panel will focus on state issues as they relate to notaries public and business-related matters. Chapman will be joined by the Arizona Secretary of State Ken Bennett and North Carolina Secretary of State Elaine Marshall for the discussion.
“Notary services help facilitate business transactions each day across our state and nation,” said Chapman. “Everyone wins when notary laws are understood and followed. These informational conferences serve notaries, businesses, and the general public, as well.” Chapman said.
The Secretary of State’s office is a repository of more than 75,000 notaries in Alabama. Since becoming secretary of state, Chapman has been an advocate for notaries public and established the first-ever statewide notary conference to further educate Alabama notaries.
Chapman’s participation in this conference is not funded at taxpayer expense.
