Phyllis Schlafly, Founder of Eagle Forum, passed away on Monday.
Alabama Republican Party Chairman Terry Lathan made the following statement:
“For seventy years, Phyllis Schlafly was a consistent conservative. She never stood down or blinked when it came to her convictions of a strong America through strong families. Mrs.Schlafly loved America through her actions. From walking the halls of Congress, talking with presidents, to leading tens of thousands to fight for conservative values through the most respected Eagle Forum, Mrs. Schlafly’s life was action in motion.”
“We can honor her life by simply walking in her footsteps to continue her legacy of strong conservatism in our nation.”
