On Wednesday morning, the Senate Judiciary Committee voted to approve Senator Sessions’ nomination for U.S. Attorney General.
Alabama Republican Party Chairman Terry Lathan issued the following statement regarding the Senate Judiciary Committee’s vote:
“The Alabama Republican Party is very proud of Senator Sessions. Jeff Sessions is a fine patriot and a staunch defender of the Constitution. He is a man of the law and will abide by it justly. We look forward to not only his confirmation later this week, but the new journey he will share with President Trump and America.”
