Alabama Republican Party Chairman John Wahl issued the following statement concerning today’s ALGOP Primary Election:
“The ballots have been cast and the people of Alabama have spoken. First and foremost, I would like to thank our Republican primary voters. They are the real winners today – making it a priority to research and vote for our candidates. They let their voices be heard in a true show of civic duty and patriotism.
“We had an impressive number of candidates qualify to run for office this year. Unfortunately, there can only be one winner. To those not moving forward this election cycle, I want you to know we appreciate you and have so much respect for your dedication and desire to serve. On behalf of the Alabama Republican Party, I hope you will stay involved with the Party and not give up on your passion to make our state and our nation a better place for all.
“To those headed to the run-off, I look forward to seeing all of you out on the campaign trail over the next month.
“Finally, to our 2022 nominees, congratulations! We look forward to working with you and your campaigns. We will take our country back from the Democrats and their radical socialist agenda in November, and continue to gain ground on behalf of liberty and freedom in our great state of Alabama.”
