On February 25, 2024, Christian Horn notified the Alabama Republican Party that he was officially withdrawing from the Republican Primary for Congressional District 7. At that time, it was too late to remove his name from the ballot, but he was allowed to drop out of the race. The runner-up in the Republican Primary will move forward as the Party’s nominee.
