On Saturday, August 26th, the Alabama Republican Party State Executive Committee voted to pass the following resolutions:
Resolution No. 2017-05
Nursing Home Care for Elderly Wartime Veterans
This resolution calls on Alabama legislators to expedite the enactment of policies and legislation to meet the growing need for nursing home care for elderly wartime veterans.
Resolution No. 2017-06
Call for Defense of the Sanctity of Life in the 2018 Legislative Session
This resolution urges the Alabama state legislative and executive branches to enact and implement strong laws in the 2018 legislative session that strengthen our defense of the sanctity of life. This includes raising the age for legal sexual consent to age 18 and requiring the highest possible standards for regulation of the abortion industry.
