As there is no other candidate who qualified for this race, Mr. Green is the Republican nominee for the seat, barring any challenges.
The general election will be held on Tuesday, March 2, 2021.
The vacancy in Senate District 26 occurred following the resignation of State Senator David Burkette.
Senate District 26 includes portions of Montgomery County.
