On Tuesday, August 15, Alabama voters will head to the polls to vote in a special called U.S. Senate Primary Election.
Alabama Republican Party Chairman Terry Lathan made the following statement regarding tomorrow’s Alabama U.S. Senate Primary Election:
“Tuesday, August 15th is a historic day for our state. Alabama will choose a U.S. Senator for the sixth time in a special election. In doing so, our state is now tied with Idaho for the most special called U.S. Senate races.”
“While America is closely watching this race, it is important to remember that our voters will make the final decision and choose who will best serve Alabama in Washington.”
“As this process begins, we have no doubt that the final GOP primary winner will join Senator Shelby in promoting our state’s conservative values. We are confident the ultimate nominee will win the December 12 election and partner with President Trump to promote his agenda in ‘Making America Great Again’.”
“As the Chairman of the Alabama Republican Party, I want to encourage every single Alabama Republican to vote in our U.S. Senate Primary Election on Tuesday. Your vote truly matters.”
