Steve Livingston is this week’s Rising Republican Star and the Republican candidate for State Senate, District 8. The district includes parts of DeKalb, Jackson and Madison Counties. Senator Shad McGill previously represented the district, but decided not to run for re-election this year. Steve Livingston is pro-business, against tax increases and pro-small government. We encourage voters in DeKalb, Jackson and Madison Counties to get to know Steve by visiting his Facebook page and volunteering for his campaign!
