On Saturday, August 26, at the 2017 ALGOP Summer Meeting, the Alabama Republican Executive Committee voted and approved the primary resolution to set opening and closing qualifying dates for the 2018 Primary Election.
The Alabama Republican Party will open candidate qualifying not earlier than Monday, January 8, 2018 and close candidate qualifying not later than Friday, February 9, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. CST for the June 5, 2018 Primary Election.
