Birmingham — Rep. Mike Hubbard (R-Auburn), Chairman of the Alabama Republican Party, released the following statement on Ron Sparks’ victory in the Democrat Primary:

“Ron Sparks has been a vocal supporter of Obama’s takeover of healthcare, while at the same time campaigning with two convicted felons. We look forward to facing him in November.”
