Jackie Curtiss

Jackie Curtiss was elected the National Committeewoman for the Young Republican Federation of Alabama in May of 2011 and she also serves on the Finance Committee for the Young Republican National Federation.

Jackie is a prolific fundraiser and has already raised over $25,000 for the YRFA since being elected.

She played an instrumental role recently in helping the YRFA to win the bid to host the YRNF 2013 Convention, which will be held in the summer of 2013 in Mobile, Alabama.

She also has served as State Committeewoman for the Greater Birmingham Young Republicans since November of 2009. In 2009, Jackie registered more voters than any other member of the Greater Birmingham Young Republicans.

Since joining the Young Republicans, Jackie can frequently be seen going door to door for Republican candidates all over Alabama including for fellow Young Republicans and Senators (as well as former Rising Republican Stars), Clay Scofield (SD 9, Arab) and Bryan Taylor (SD 30, Prattville).

She also logged in several hours making calls at the phone banks set up for several Jefferson County candidates in 2010.

Jackie has also been an avid volunteer for Family Comfort Hospice and Family Connection.

She was Vice President of the Sons and Daughters of Liberty, a conservative organization on the University of Montevallo.

She is from Dothan and is currently a senior at the University of Montevallo majoring in Political Science and Business.
