On Friday morning, President-elect Donald Trump announced that Alabama United States Senator Jeff Sessions will serve in his cabinet as U.S. Attorney General.
Alabama Republican Party Chairman Terry Lathan issued the following statement on the nomination of Alabama United States Senator Jeff Sessions as U.S. Attorney General:
“The Alabama Republican Party is elated to see Senator Sessions nominated by President-elect Donald Trump for U.S. Attorney General.
